Volunteers are our lifeblood!

By volunteering, you extend the university's reach allowing us to do more.   We know your time is valuable, so it's important to us that we make your experience as meaningful to you as it is to the university.   Help us match and track your interests to current  University needs by checking all appropriate Volunteer Interest boxes below.

Don't see checkboxes?  To access the online Volunteer Interest form you must be a registered, logged-in member of the UNO Alumni & Friends online community.  To register as a first-time user or to log-in using your existing credentials, please Click Here. Then simply return here to tell us what type of volunteer experience you're most interested in.  Or contact the Office of Alumni Affairs by phone at 504-280-2586 or email at alumni@uno.edu subject line: Volunteer Interest.

Thank you!

Other campus events:

SUCbAUF- April

Celebrate nearly 30 years of one of the University of New Orleans’ favorite campus traditions: the 27th Annual SUCbAUF (Students Unwinding on Crawfish and Unprecedented Fun) Crawfish Festival! The Student Activities Council (SAC) will be hosting the boil on the HPC Intramural Fields. A variety of volunteers are necessary for the success of this major campus event:

Get to Know UNO- November
Get to Know UNO is a fall preview day for prospective students and their families. Students are invited to campus on a Saturday morning to learn more about UNO, majors, and activities. Alumni can volunteer to share their stories and help students navigate the day.

Move-In Day- August

Move-in day can be a fun and stressful time for new students and their families. Join UNO faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni as we take a little stress away by helping these students get settled into their new home. Alumni are invited to help move students into their new residence hall rooms. Some heavy lifting is required.
