Celebrate UNO's Year of Excellence

The University of New Orleans has the distinct pleasure of inducting its sixth leader and first President, alumnus Dr. Peter J. Fos (BA Biology '72). Help us celebrate the occasion, which kicks off the university's Year of Excellence, with a series of events, the capstone of which is President Fos' Investiture Ceremony on Monday, November 12, at 2 PM in the University Center Ballroom. Later that evening, don't miss the Gala honoring President Fos and 2012 Homer L. Hitt Distinguished Alumnus of the Year, Judge Jay C. Zainey. The Gala is a ticketed event with proceeds going toward launching the new UNO EDVET campaign to recruit and support military veterans with scholarships and special programs.
